15 DC | Six Word Memoirs

Onto day two of…

Life of Love

Today’s challenge to write six word memoirs. I get a little confused at what exactly a “memoir” is…is it my life? Is it advice? Is it just random words thrown together?? Who knows…my mind chooses when and when not to function, so i chose to go with the “advice” verdict of a memoir, if i’m wrong my-B. However looking back i can honestly say that all of these are in essence the heartbeat of my life…so it’s a win-win situation. ðŸ™‚
My Memoirs.
…so let’s get started shall we?
let life be centered on Christ.
I think that one is probably the most important. A life without a solid foundation leads to complete chaos.
enjoy the bread, skip the gym.
Eh, it isn’t always the most healthy option, but sometimes that piece of cake is just calling your name from across the room. Now don’t get me wrong…i’m all about being healthy, but i do enjoy some sweet bread every now and then.
Listen carefully to your heart’s echo.
I think we can all get caught up in our lives and forget to listen to what our hearts desire and need. Listen to the resonating memories, to the beautiful music, to the cherished feelings and allow yourself the privilege to really live.
Take heart, and enjoy the day.
Stop dwelling so much on the negative. Instead, be thankful and joyful that you’re alive for another day, you’re able to spread happiness and encouragement to those you love, and live your life in a way that best brings glory to God and those around you.
. . .
Last one for the day.
Sing loudly when you feel empty.
Allow yourself the moment to break down, be broken open, and vulnerable. Don’t worry about people’s reactions or the fact that you’re off-pitch…just release whatever is inside of you and let it breathe. Sing loudly…always.

. . .
What about you,  what are your memoirs?
[let me know so i can read them!]
. . .
Quick random fun…
Last night i was able to go to a wedding of some friends from youth group and spend the evening celebrating their union with some amazing people! I simply love my friends!! One of my best friends, Lauren (who is so fashion-forward it makes my wardrobe jealous) was able to get a picture of us together!! 🙂 I love that girl!

Perfect memoirs! They are yours, so anything you choose to write is perfect! Also, "Sing loudly when you feel empty" is great advice! I like it.

Sold me at the 2nd line. I'm fairly active, I go to the gym a lot and I eat really healthy, but bread is my comfort food. Whenever I'm sick or sad or just bored – BREAD is the answer 🙂

    Good luck with the challenge!
