One
of my favorite things about Fall is the treats.
Cookies, brownies, cakes, candy…as you can see it
is kind of a weakness.
One of my favorite memories involves making ‘Magic Cookie Bars’ with my mom.
I grew up thinking that this was a one’of’a’kind recipe that my mom just magically whipped up, until one day
when I was older getting groceries I saw the recipe on the back of a condensed
milk can! =)
I will still believe that my mom made these up.
. . .
Magic Cookie Bars are delicious.

*2 cups (12 oz. pkg) semi-sweet chocolate chips
*1 1.3 cups flaked coconut
*1 cup chopped nuts.
~Directions~
*Heat oven to 350. Coat a 13×9 inch pan with no-stick cooking spray.
*Combine graham cracker crumbs & butter in a small bowl, then press into the bottom of the pan. *Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the crumb mixture.
*Layer evenly with chocolate chips, coconut, & nuts and press down with a fork.
*Bake 25-30 minutes or until lightly brown.
*VIOLA you’re done. Just pull the sucker out of the oven, let cool, & cut it into squares!
. . .
Now you can try one of my favorite fall recipes.
Warning: you will not be able to eat just one of these bars. So make them while you have multiple people over and they will be finished off, otherwise you’re going to go into hibernation early!
. . .
Don’t forget tomorrow is another Frankly Friday!
I can’t wait to read all of your thoughts.

Do you have a favorite fall treat?
Do you have fond memories of making anything with a parent/relative/friend?
Are you not a sweet’s person at all?

Girl! Don't you know that the condensed milk company got that recipe from your Mom??? 🙂
They look delicious, except for the coconut!
I'm a total sweets person. I miss eating sweets. 🙁 But I'm thinking my husband would love these things because he loves coconut. I can't stand coconut so it's safe for him to have these in the house. I won't touch them. 🙂
What I love about fall is APPLE CIDER!!
