You guys, i had the most amazing breakfast.
{image came from here}
English muffin + hummus + Tomatoes + Avacado + salt & pepper….YUM.
I even woke up at 530ish and went to the gym before work, you know trying to get a healthy routine going. My goal is to work out Monday nights with my friend Beverly, Tuesday mornings & Thursday mornings at the gym by 6am, Friday nights do a work out at home, Saturdays with Beverly or at home.
WOOOOOOOT.
. . .
Anyways.
Let’s talk about my garage shall we?
It. Is. HORRIBLE.
This past weekend my grandmother came by and we got some of her things out of the garage {PRAISE!} and that helped a little. You see my garage has become the storage unit for ridiculous amounts of furniture, tools, random sports equipment, and gosh knows what else. It also hasn’t been organized in a solid hmm….10 years! YES 10 YEARS! So to say i’m starting at square one is truly not an exaggeration. I was so sick of having all of this extra in my garage that my cousin Jennifer came over and helped me move a rather large chunk of it to the curb for garbage.

The garbage men are going to hate me today…
The queen box spring/mattresses are at least 20 years old and springs are popping out, the other box spring is broken, the bed frame is broken, the red couch? HIDEOUS and not worth a penny (and i didn’t know anyone who needed it), The drawers are from the dresser my brother smashed {and yes i realize i could have made something out of them but i was on a purging rampage}, There is also a broken desk you can almost see (behind the couch), a broken mirror, and a few other things that some people have already driven by and picked up!
WOOO!
After we got all of those things out of the garage i did a little sweeping (there was a disgusting plastic paint tarp that had completely disintegrated) and we took down my punching bag until i get everything set up the way i want it. Oh, you didn’t know i had a punching bag? Come and meet me on a back alley and i’ll show you…ha i kid, but not really. {i did get new gloves and hand wraps for Christmas though! yay!} So technically the garage still looks like crap, BUT it’s a ridiculous improvement than how it looked Friday night. I can’t wait until i can actually park my car in there, and yes it will be the first time a vehicle has been parked in the garage in at least 8 years.

See, i told you….HOT MESS.
. . .
What organization/cleaning/purging projects are you currently working on.

I like that blue couch thing with the wooden legs in the first picture…can I ask why you are throwing it away? Is something wrong with it?

I wondered if you did something like that when I saw your Christmas post!

It'll feel so goodto have it cleaned out….And park your car in there. 🙂

I have zero motivation and zero vision when it comes to organizing anything right now. Hello, January! I think I'll be in hibernation mode for the next few months.

Sooo I've commented this at least three times, but I LOVE purging all my crap and throwing stuff out. Cleaning is amazing (when I'm in the mood).
