List three statements. Make sure two are true, and one isn’t. No feeling anxious for you lie, ‘cuz we told you that you’re allowed to–but just this once.
Then post our awesome button (found below). Then underneath the button (or as a first comment, if you’d rather do that), tell us which ones are true statements and which one is the lie (feel free to elaborate as much or as little as you feel is warranted). Easy peasy! Make sure to go visit others’ blogs and tell them what you thought was the lie!

1. TRUTH.
I really did start dying my hair at 12, without my mothers consent. She quickly realized that it was better for me to dye my hair constantly than to get “piercings or tattoos” (ha). She even encouraged the fire engine red because she loved it. 2012 was the FIRST YEAR since i was 12 (over ten years) that i purposely had let my hair grow out so i could see the roots and dyed my hair back to it’s natural color. I currently have a few blonde streaks underneath, and i’m itching to add some more “fun”.
Over the years: {i think i’ve done every color imaginable, just not all pictured}
2. TRUTH.
It was a horrible experience, but also hilarious and i guess one for my i didn’t want this on my bucket list but here you go. I was at a conference in Atlanta with Campus Outreach when i was a freshman in college and we were staying at the Hilton. We were on the 17th floor and no one wanted to walk the stairs to get to the main session that night. I was one of the first ones in the elevator and everyone else jumped on; oh did i mention i’m claustrophobic. It was very scary and hilarious, we started feeling movement and one of the guys opened up the doors and we saw cement, then a lobby, then cement, then a lobby…what the french toast?! We pushed the “emergency” button and when we told the lady how many people were on the elevator she half laughed-half gasped and freaked out. Apparently we were the first to fit that many people on an elevator at this hotel.
We were in there for over an hour and the fire department had to pry the doors open and we had to be lifted out by each other. Woot woot…
Oh and i have a picture to prove it:
Yeah, i look hot right? ha.
3. LIE.
I’ve tried…it never ends well.
. . .
You should join in on the fun too!!
I cant wait to read other people’s truths & lies!
<3
So which one did you think was a truth and which one did you think was a lie?????
Oh my gosh, Amy! I was hoping the second one was a lie because that sounds terrible. Also the picture is HILARIOUS, because everybody looks dazed and confused.
I was hoping #2 was a lie! that is crazy!!! love yours!
Oh my gosh! I would have died on that elevator!!!
I never dye my hair… except for that one time. The first time I dyed my hair I went blue haha. Go big or go home right?! And then I had to dye it again to get it back to somewhat normal. That's it. I'm not too adventurous when it comes to hair.
I thought number three was the lie! I feel like that would be near impossible! haha!
I would freak out if I was stuck in an elevator like that. I'm a bit claustrophobic myself so that would be bad!
omg #2 is so scaryyy! i would die if i dropped 17 floors!

The DayLee Journal
That is terrifying!I thought for sure #2 was your lie!
Can you post a video of yourself attempting number 3?? That would be great blog material, no? Thanks for linking up with us. Fun finding your blog.
I dyed my hair for the first time last year and my mom had a fit. Your mom was right though, all these colors look great on you! This was pretty tricky!
oh I totally thought 2 was a lie, I should have gone with if it sounds crazy it must be true!
I would have sworn #2 was the lie! I thought you were making it easy on us! Scary!!!
I just tried to say the alphabet backwards to test myself…didn't make it very far before I gave up out of frustration.
I had a feeling that #3 was the lie. I'd be surprised if anyone could do that!
Oh my goodness, getting stuck in an elevator is my worst nightmare–that's seriously why I refuse to ride the elevator by myself. Loved reading this post! It brought me back to those first day of school ice breaker games. 🙂
I love how only one person in the picture is smiling. 🙂
Number 2 is scary, but the picture is hilarious!
I am hyperventilating thinking about #2. I would have totally vomited from claustrophobia.
I love the orange color hair! And I would have freaked out if I got stuck in the elevator with that many people!
#2 made my stomach drop!!
i guessed correctly 🙂
cute blog!
Oh my gosh! Haha that is too funny. I assumed #2 was the lie… that's something you only see in a movie. Haha! Wow, what a good story though right?! 😛
Um, I was for sure it was #1 or #3. #2!?!?! OMG. And at a Hilton, no less. I work for Hilton. Unacceptable!!! That also sounds like my worst nightmare and I'm not even claustrphobic.
Oh oh! I guessed right! #2… CRAZY! Glad you were okay!
That is CRAZY about the elevator!! Ahhhh!
I guessed the first was a lie b/c your hair looks so natural! Haha! But it is now! I did the same thing. I never died my hair anything crazy but i did blonde hi-lites for 15 years. I just grew it all out b/c i wanted to see the natural color. So i stopped highlighting in late 2011 & kept it natural all of 2012. But now i am ITCHING for some blonde again & that will happen on Thursday! 🙂
Look at you being all bold with you hair color! I'm super impressed by people who can do that. I got some very subtle blonde highlights for the first time back in May. And that's all I have ever done color wise with my hair. I wish I could be more like you!
And ohmygoodness. that elevator situation would have freaked me out so much. I'm surprised no one had a panic attack!
