. . .
My weekend was spent with a mixture of lounging and getting stuff done.
We’re trying to get the house back in order since having to move everything while the floors were being replaced (they’re done btw!). Getting everything back IN place…that’s a whole different level of crazy. I’m working on getting the trim painted white so that i won’t have to worry about it when i finally go to paint the rooms…but even that is a long process. Brown trim to white trim? At least 2-3 coats of primer and 3-4 coats of regular paint…time consuming much?
I also took some pictures of a really sweet family yesterday.
They were TROOPERS!
Our weather has been crazy this past weekend and by 5pm yesterday it had dropped to the low 60s high 50s with lots of wind and serious chill! The little girls (age 4 & 1) were in CUTE summer dresses, the mom in a dress, and the dad was probably the warmest! Needless to say i was expecting to get maybe 20 minutes with the girls on good behavior, but they were amazing! They kept smiles on their faces and we bundled them up between pictures…two of the most well behaved little girls i’ve ever seen! I’ll share some of the pictures i’ve edited of them today, but you might see some more later as i continue to edit. 🙂

Glad to hear about all the progress you've been making on your house projects!!! 🙂
Great job with the pictures! I can't wait to see more. You guys were clearly having an awesome time…I can't even tell that the weather was less than pleasant.
The highlight of my weekend was Sunday. My Mom and I went shopping and to lunch and then my sister fixed orange chicken for dinner. Love times like that!
BTW, Thanks for linking up! 🙂
What an adorable family! My mom had me painting the trim at her house when I was living with her after college. She did the same thing, brown to white. Not fun. But it looked great afterward! I'm sure yours will too.
Great pictures! I like the fairy tales book.
Beautiful family! The one of mom and dad laying on the blanket is stunning!
What a beautiful family, and such beautiful photos you took!
The highlight of my weekend was probably the fact that we got a lot accomplished but it didn't feel overly busy. Left me feeling satisfied at the end of last night. That is the mark of a good weekend for me!
all I have to say is: yea for lounging! that's what I want to hear from you!
Yay your floors are done and YAY for lounging! The pictures you took of that family are gorgeous!
