Chloe is rocking that table…

So i was going to post about the trip today…
…but i just uploaded the pictures last night and i’m still working on posts! Woot!

There has been a space in my den that has looked awkward for a solid 2 years.
Granted i’m pretty awkward so i suppose it was a direct reflection of myself…
🙂
Maybe an example will help explain this space:
I asked my brother, “is there anything that you don’t like that i’ve done in the house?”
His response: “Well..that mirror over there {the sunburst mirror}…what is that? It’s randomly hanging there, off-centered…it just looks weird”
Subtle Bo, subtle.

Friday i finally bit the bullet and got a table for the awkward situation going on.
It started with a tour around world market. Which we all know 99% of the times ends up in you purchasing more than one thing you didn’t go in there to buy.
I was looking through the furniture and my eyes kept drifting over to this table:

The Chloe Foyer Table
Umm super cute right?
I’m not going to lie, at first i thought it was going to be way too small.
I didn’t have any measurements for the space on hand; so i did what i always do – eyeball that junk and hope for the best. After asking one of the store associates what their return policy was i loaded that thing into my car {after buying of course}.

. . .

Here is the space before:

And here is the space after:

. . .

Basically, i love it.
I think it fits the space perfectly, and the rich wood tones = swoon.
Have you bought a piece of furniture recently that you fell in love with…or subsequently ended up not working with the space once bringing it home?
Do you measure everything before you go looking for furniture? Or, like me, do you sometimes just eyeball it and figure out the return policy?

{this was not a sponsored/paid post; all opinions were my own}

I LOVE it! What a huge difference a simple table can bring. 🙂

I have seen those striped black and white blankets everywhere….Where did you get it?

    Oooh I love it!!

I just bought two end tables at the thrift store this weekend… they aren't a perfect match but one will be hidden a bit and they are close (same style and all.) I need to strip and refinish them so who knows how long it will be until I actually USE them in my house haha. BUT! $8 total for both! Yeah… grabbed those up because I wasn't seeing the style I wanted anywhere and I've been searching for 8 months. But that's what I get for wanting and older style end table!

Love this side table, the location in your house, the color/tone, and the design–and it's funny that you published this post today because I just went to World Market this past weekend with my family! 🙂 There are so many amazing things there!

Looks awesome! I think you are great at eyeballing because that piece totally rocks that space and adds so much to it! Perfect!
