+ I ran across this post the other day – wow.
What a phenomenal challenge, definitely something I plan to take part in.

+ We didn’t make it to the pumpkin patch on Sunday. High temperatures + rain kept us away – so we’re hoping to make it happen soon. Truthfully it wouldn’t feel like a pumpkin patch without cooler weather – or is that just me?

+ This weekend went by in a blur. I pulled down some Halloween decorations – started on a few projects, took some pictures (forgot to upload them), and hung out with some friends.

+ Did I mention i’m in the middle of a Harry Potter marathon? Yeah we finished movie #5 last night.

+  Honestly, i’m just not fully present this morning. I’m way behind on blog reading-commenting-responding to emails, I have lots on my mind, and i’m just bleh. Typical Monday morning. Here’s to hoping this day turns around – it’s all about our attitudes right?
. . .
Today is my dad’s 55th birthday!! I can’t believe it’s already been 11 years since he passed away – time passes too quickly. Happy Birthday Daddy!

The be.loved challenge has me shaking in my boots! It's definitely a challenge for me to be that courageous in public!

I'm the same way about pumpkins and fall festivities. My husband is very eager for me to start making pumpkin pie; I've been saying "not yet" more than anything else lately. We're in Georgia, so the leaves are starting to change and the mornings are cooler, but it's in the 80s by lunch.

Upon filling my Gryffindor tumbler with coffee the other morning, I whispered a little, "I miss you, Harry." I kind of felt silly, but maybe I need a marathon too.

Mondays are hard when there is so much life seeping in. They're a constant reminder to keep going, but sometimes, you just need to stop, reflect, and be still. Monday is very unforgiving of this. I'm hoping today can be a time of reflection of wonderful memories for you as you remember your father.

My husband and I just got the Harry Potter series from my brother. My husband is so excited. Me? I want to keep being stubborn, because I don't want to give into the phenomenon that is HP. ;D

That first picture? I want that to be real, right now, in front of me.
