this past weekend i took some of my girl friends out to | botany bay, edisto island | for a little photo shoot. botany bay plantation is a heritage preserve and wildlife management area.
i’ve been wanting to practice photography more.
hone in on details – get more comfortable behind the camera – make people feel lovely.
we had so much fun.
i have gorgeous friends.
the grounds of botany bay are breathtaking. there are fields, marsh lands, horse pastures, rows and rows of old oaks and beautiful trees, woodlands, and obviously the beach.
the beach is famous here – and incredibly lovely.
dead trees and driftwood line the beach – making for an interesting contrast – and sometimes it carries an eery feel. without fail though – it makes you step back and marvel at God the creator.
you can see more pictures from this photo session here. (i edited around 97 pictures!)
enjoy
