after seeing kiki mention this post on coffee table books i decided to thief borrow the idea.
if i’m being honest my coffee table has a lot of stuff on it.
anything from headphones, cups, important papers, sports bra, & other miscellaneous items that just get thrown on there.
i also have a lot of books/magazines/pictures sitting in a tray.
so to make today’s post a little more pretty and a little less real life i selected some of my favorites.

enjoy.

RLS art gallery {turned to my absolute favorite artist’s work // adam hall }
the fifties in pictures
ireland & scotland trip photo book {MyPublisher}
you are loved
the vintage sweets book
life: beautiful magazine
charleston style & design

// just for fun – i took these pictures last night after my workout (which means i was disgusting). i was sitting on the front porch, taking these pictures, sweat DRIPPING off of my nose and it kept landing on the books. it was disgusting, but that is real life and a little glimpse behind the scenes. //

what is currently suffocating your coffee table?

    I want to live in the 50's! πŸ™‚ Oh and you need to make some things from that vintage sweets and share the recipes.

    This was a fun post! I really like coffee table books and magazines too.

    love that fifties book! i'd love to flip through that one πŸ™‚
    i don't actually have a coffee table, but i'd love to have one and fill it with lovely books! (though to be perfectly real, it would probably end up with all kinds of other things too…haha)

    Ooh, I'm so glad you shared your books! You already know that I'm a sucker for design and photography and anything related to that but I have to say that that Life: Beautiful magazine looks amazing. I've never heard of it before! What a great collection of books!

    If I came over for coffee I would probably end up reading your books and being anti-social…that's a great selection!

    LOVE this idea. I have lots of ideas for books that I would love to have as coffee table books. I actually have a little collection in my room that could be considered coffee table material. I might have to borrow (steal) this idea as well.

    You have some great ones! I love the 50s one and that picture of Elvis. LOVE! I also love the Charleston Style and Design. My boss has given me a couple of the Life:Beautiful magazine. They are great!

    These are such great pieces! Our coffee table actually holds our laptops, haha! But there's a bookshelf FULL of books right beside the couch. πŸ™‚
