while on vacation last week i hardly touched my dslr.
normally i try to live in the moment rather than capture it.
however our first night in jacksonville i took some alone time and went out to the beach as the sun was setting. it had stopped raining only 30 minutes prior and actually started sprinkling again when i was wrapping up.
growing up in a beach area is something i know i’m blessed with.
but sometimes it takes a little step back, a new beach, a different city to help you remember why you love the sand, the ocean, the waves, the sound, and the smell so much.
i love beaches.
i will always love beaches.
prepare for picture overload.
& enjoy the virtual vacation
// yes i realize some are blurry…yes i also wanted them that way. 😉
// p.s. these are all un-touched (aka no editing) God is just that beautiful of a creator.
These make me so excited to go to the beach! 🙂
Also, you've probably said this at some point, but I don't remember – what does your tattoo say?
so beautiful!! i am going to sandestin at the end of august and i CAN'T WAIT. it's been a while since i went to the beach!
Thanks for that virtual vacation. I'm gonna go book a trip to the beach now 😉 😉
Untouched pictures are my favorite!!! I loved the pictures and I'm glad you took a little time to enjoy the beach and snag a few shots to take home!
Beaches are the best and I've never met one (besides in Seattle) that I didn't like! 🙂
gorgeous!
So pretty! I am in love with the beach, too and love the warmth from the sun and the contrast between the sky and the water. Great shots as always!
p.s. The blurry ones are my fave. 🙂
I love the beach. Minus the sand. Sometimes the sand just gets on my nerves. ha! I also love when you are like the only person on the beach! Was this true with you or did you creatively take shots around people? I have to do the latter normally when I'm at the beach.
Also, what does your tat mean? And how many times have you had to answer that question? haha 🙂
