essentials.
let’s chat about that shall we?
there are a few things that I touch every. single. day. (or close to it) that I really couldn’t imagine being out of my life; you know the things that help me tick. then there are the essentials I think of when I start having those “if the world was ending and I had two minutes to grab this bag I want x, y, and z inside”. am I the only one who thinks of worst case scenarios here?
Mancrates recently got in touch with me asking if i would be willing to share some of my essential items and after exploring their site I knew I wanted to get involved in the challenge (kiki has done it too!). to back peddle for a moment let’s discuss shopping for dudes…am I alone in admitting how hard it is? they tell us that we are picky that we are hard to shop for – uh no…I’m limited with you sir. I can get a girl her 26th scarf and she would be excited – but getting a boy another belt or t-shirt an un-enthused yayyy is what I get. So after seeing mancrates products (prepackaged wooden crates full of man-loved goodies) I know that the dudes in my life would love them; hello snack crate, outdoor survival can, and grill master crate – you might make Christmas shopping a little easier for me!
1 | bible
2 | relationships – i know this isn’t really a “tangible” thing…but i am a people-person and i love connecting with others…so i would NEED some form of conversation / depth with another individual for the rest of my life!
3 | meat – yes I’m sorry to all of you lovely vegetarians…I love meat. a big ol’ juicy stake, or a baked chicken, ground turkey, a scrumptious burger, mouth watering BBQ…the list goes on. I’m literally drooling just thinking about all of the deliciousness.
4 | camera – i love taking pictures. being able to document moments is super important to me!
5 | chapstick – do you have any idea how irritating dry lips can be for me? I just smack my lips with spit and it gets me no where but angry. so yes, chapstick is key in this little kit for me.
bonus: a weapon – because I always want to be prepared! 🙂
