let’s look back at my october goals…
// stay consistent in my workouts (and up the ante!)
meh. i did OK with this one. i started morning workouts at some point in the month, and was decently consistent. but no where close to where i wanted to be. I was also out of town a lot, and missed a few classes at my MMA boxing gym – but i got back in the last two weeks and it was KILLER!
try 2 new recipes.
completed! i made these sweet potato wedges (so good – i’ll share the recipe soon), ground turkey meatballs, slow cooker banana nut oatmeal, and a few more i can’t remember
make the most out of each day. (i sometimes let life pass me by when i focus on the “future”)
i think i did a good job with this one. birthdays, seeing my brother, going on the renew retreat, and just overall joy. i even shared my annual birthday advice!
// do two DIY projects.
sooo i didn’t really do this the way i wanted to (aka something off of my pinterest board) but i did accomplish some house projects that i’ve been putting off (woohoo!)
// random act of kindness
// make some more jewelry.
i DID and you will be hearing all about it!
// budget &
meal planning (i’ve been far too slack lately)
i meal-planned and it was a lifesaver for the week i did it haha. after having my debit card information stolen and over $300 taken out of my account i was pretty dang broke. i’m thankful i have
hoardish responsible tendencies to keep certain items in bulk.
// make time for Jesus daily.
this one was off and on. i’m still adjusting my schedule to morning workouts. i was doing morning quiet times but i’ve learned that in order to have a work out and a solid quiet time i would have to wake up at 5am…and i’m not sure that is happening yet. SO i need to figure out if i’m going to do 5ams or do quiet times in the evening.
// have another bonfire night
// try two new recipes
// brighten someone’s day
// book a few more photography sessions
// budgeting / meal-planning
// re-organize my library/office/jewelry making room
// at least two diy projects
// get things ready and in place for advent season
do you do monthly goals?
what are you looking forward to in november?
