so let’s get on to this past weekend shall we?
friday:i didn’t have class!! WOOHOO so the roomie and i went to old navy to see their president’s day sale…and we weren’t super impressed. old navy is really hit or miss for me, this time it was a miss. womp womp. we then battled traffic and went to one of our favorite local places for sushi (and hibachi) ICHIBAN and it was, as always, delicious. once we got home we binge watched friends (which who isn’t doing that?)
saturday: i started the morning running to go see my grandmother (who hasn’t been doing well) and then standing in the post office line for 45 minutes to ship my brothers valentine’s day package for his girlfriend that he sent to our home address versus his current college address. -__- i got really frustrated by the lack of patience of people standing in line i wanted to just completely blast all of them. the workers CAN NOT control if the machines die and if other people bring a lot of stuff to ship out. grrrr. i then came home and did a makeup tutorial (you’ll see soon!), and maria and i went out to run more errands. i forced her to walk into a wig store with me and try some on – she wasn’t so sure but we had SO MUCH FUN, and i contribute the awesome victoria who helped us and made us feel so comfortable. i actually tricked a few of you on instagram with my blonde wig (always look at the background haha). it is actually called a “lace front” wig so that once you cut the wig it gives a natural hairline – so you’ll see the lace front chilling on my forehead haha. i’m still thinking about that wig but i couldn’t justify $50 on something i wouldn’t wear at least once a week haha. we then got sucked into this HUGE traffic mess. SEWE is in town and so was Jason Aldeen (spelling?) so we had a few extra thousand people in our city. blehk. that night i was so exhausted; the long week really caught up with me.
sunday: we had a fantastic and really heart probing church service followed by a freezing walk over our arthur ravenel bridge in 34 weather with SUPER CRAZY WIND – i love the cold and i was shivering haha. after de-frosting i came home to relax and build a fire for a little bit before diving into studying for a few hours. my roomie and i had been wanting to watch LUCY for a while so we finally rented it and were blown away! that movie…WOW i am just floored by how beautiful the imagery was, by how creative the plot was, and just – i can’t even describe how good it was! if you haven’t seen it, watch ti!
