let’s review august goals…
+ finish whole30 strong & try two new recipes
so this happened, and i have mixed feelings on it. i think it was absolutely great to challenge myself for 30 days to really buckle down on eating – but it really screwed with my stomach a lot, i felt more sick on whole30 than i did normally. i actually haven’t eaten avocados since day 30 because i had to stop eating them half way through because suddenly they upset my stomach. i will admit it wasn’t as hard for me to complete whole30 (it was more just a pain in my toosh) since my diet was already 90% that way.
+ do at least two DIY projects
womp wompppp nope – didn’t happen.
+ memorize a scripture
ugh. this didn’t happen either! 🙁 no excuses
+ stay on top of my workouts, work. on. core.
yes! i did a lot of workouts in august (i would say i averaged 5 a week)
+ work on cleaning up my yard (front & back)
yes sir-ree…granted if you swung by my house now you would noticed a very tall yard. it’s been raining so much and i’ve had zero time to cut it again. i did manage to cut all of the bushes on the front of the house (a lot of work that was!) and have started to set up the back yard for fall.
+ relax some and get ready for the next few busy months!
yay for relaxation!
+ try two new recipes
+ blog to-dos (getting ready for halloween, clean up draft posts, etc)
+ 2 DIY projects
+ be intentional with friendships
+ memorize scripture & make Jesus a priority
+ get the house ready for fall/october! (lots of yard work, building things, and cleaning!)
+ maybe do an instagram sale?
what is a goal you are hoping to cross off this month?
