This past week was exactly one that I needed.
I was able to go UNDER THE WATER on the submarine with my husband for the day and see how he actually does the submarine life, well at least get a glimpse into it. Its was overwhelmingly humbling to see what these submariners go through and I have so much respect for them. Getting to climb all the way to the top and stand on the submarine while it was moving was incredibly magical PLUS being able to Michael Jackson lean while standing was one of the coolest things ever (the submarine went at an angle and you just kind of lean with it).
That also means I got to see my husband for a little bit and it was glorious. G.L.O.R.I.O.U.S!!
I’ve also been getting out and walking again since I pulled a muscle in my back and am hoping to go take an OTF class today and just ease back into it! I’ve missed working out and feeling strong and healthy as well as a little stir crazy so this couldn’t be coming at a better time!
This weekend will be full of some beach time, reading, maybe even a little exploring, and cooking!

+ My sweet friend Meg sent me this amazing article on “How To Have A Marriage That’s Good Enough” and its as exactly what I needed to read.
+ I know it’s not fall yet, but this sweater is giving me all the fall vibes! AND paired with these shoes = YES PLEASE!
+ We just ordered these security cameras and I can’t begin to tell you how much I love them. While the price tag was a little shocking after reviewing what all was on the market and then asking some close friends who had these, we bit the bullet and got them and I have so much more peace of mind! They record motion, sound, night vision, AND I can talk through them! (*PS I’ve linked to amazon because PRIME and they are the cheapest place I’ve found them!)
+ If you’re married or single, this article, Learning To See Your Single Neighbor, was just home-hitting. I remember feeling ALL of these things and I want to make sure that I’m being aware of my friends who are still walking in singleness.
+ I’m still finishing up the book “Nothing To Prove” (it’s taken me forever because it’s such a gut punch!) and I just ordered “Sex, Jesus, and The Conversations The Church Forgot About“.
+ Keto is still going strong! I bought “The Keto Diet: The Complete Guide” and last night made the most AMAZING pizza ever!
Ground beef is the crust (YUP) and you mix in all of these goodies, top it with pesto and pepperoni and out comes something that was delicious, especially when I topped it with avocado! **PS that book, game changer. It walked me through what Keto was, the reasons behind it, the different plans and speaking of plans she offers 3 different keto meal plans (a month long each) with weekly grocery lists and meal plans and that is EXACTLY what I needed!
+ I’ve been thinking about day planners for next year (yeah yeah yeah) and am also considering getting into bullet journaling (even made a section on a pinterest board with it) and wanted to know if any of you bullet journal!
