I was having a rough day.
I felt like I was cooped up, bored, and truly alone for a few days.
I was missing Eddie and just in this massive funk where I felt like I was crawling out of my own skin. I texted some local friends asking where they liked to go when they just needed to get out of the house and one of the suggestions was to go walk around the San Diego Botanic Garden and enjoy the plants. I got into the car, drove the 30-40 minutes and and was actually able to get in for free (thanks to the military blue start month) and spent an hour walking around.
I felt like I was transported to another time and absolutely LOVED seeing all of the different types of trees, flowers, plants, and the like. In fact I enjoyed it so much I’m heading back there today!!
