I woke up this morning feeling a little bummed out.
My hips were achy and I found myself coughing, again. I’m hoping my body is just recovering from a week of a few hard hikes and having my monthly friend and the cough might have been triggered from me using my humidifier again last night. Eddie and I have a list a mile long of things we need to get done while he is on leave and we are hoping to hit up Harry Potter world tomorrow, so I NEED to be feeling better!
RECAP OCTOBER MONTHLY GOALS
+ Feel better & healthy and keep moving.
So.
This has been REALLY, REALLY, REALLY hard. I got sick, AGAIN for over 2 weeks. I’m actually still struggling with it and it absolutely sucks. I can’t stand my body not being at 100% and it makes me thankful for the health that I do have.
+ Finish one book.
I’ve almost finished this one and it is pretty good so far.
+ Drink 100 ounces every day.
Well…I think I hit this almost every day. I need to be more intentional in it.
NOVEMBER GOALS
+ Get everything we are not using packed up and ready to be moved or go into storage.
+ Make a new recipe for our small Thanskgiving together. I’m looking at these: one, two, three, four.
+ Train for the 5 peak in one day challenge!
CURRENTLY
Appreciating | Health. With the last few months of really feeling down and out with multiple sicknesses and just a crappy immune system I’m finding myself appreciating all that my body does for me. It’s a huge blessing to have a body that moves, functions, and can do all that I can do. I don’t want to take that for granted.
Researching | U-Hauls, storage units, hotels, and traveling routes for the upcoming cross-country move.
Posting | To my wish list and trying to add in some gift giving ideas to start getting some ideas for the upcoming Christmas season!
Getting | ALL THE HOUSE THINGS! Since I’ll be moving back to Charleston next month we’re starting to slowly put some new things in the house. World Market is having a crazy good sale (40% all furniture) so we got this sofa for our sunroom and it is so dang comfortable!! I also snagged this STUNNING runner off of Wayfair last night to go in the house as well. I am drafting up a post about our new home to share with y’all soon and I’m really excited about all of the ideas I’m dreaming up for it
Cooking | Just in the last week I’ve made: a loaf of my Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Banana Bread, Twice Baked Butternut Squash, and Reese Witherspoon’s Grandma Dorothea’s Corn Salad (SO GOOD!)
Linking up today’s post with Anne.
