Welcome to the day where you will see at least 20 Justin Timberlake “It’s Going To Be MAYYYYY” posts. π I feel like I’m saying this every month but I can’t believe another month is down in the books for 2019. Truth be told that makes me super happy because that if the year continues to fly by I’ll get to see my honey sooner than later.
I am using this month as a crack-down month until my vacation. I really want to watch my finances, weight, workout goals, house progress, and stay healthy! I’m then heading back to California to spend some time with two of my besties and we’ve rented out an amazing A-Frame and are going to have a killer girls weekend.
Recap April Goals
+ Go to bed at an earlier time.
This most certainly happened! I started a new job and my shift begins at 4:30am so I’ve got to start winding down around 8pm and I try my hardest to be asleep by 9. (It’s hard y’all!)
+ Read 2 books β seriously!
WellllllllllI started re-reading a series I’ve read 8 times and so while I have read 2 new books, I haven’t read 2 new books!
+ Hang up some wall art!
DONE! I didn’t go crazy but I did hang up a few pieces in my home!
May Monthly Goals
- Read a book.
- Organize paperwork around the house.
- Loose 2 lbs.
- Do something new in Charleston!
Currently…
Admiring | All the things! This candle looks like it would be magical in my house – especially for bath time! I’m all about this shirt, even if I’ve been married for a few years – It’s just so pretty! Lastly, this print would be perfect in any room in my house.
Playing | BUNKO! Y’all I played my first game of Bunko last week and its as such a fun time. I actually ended up winning (YAY!) with the most bunkos! Have you ever played?
Borrowing | Energy….sleep (HA!). I feel like I’m borrowing time right now. Getting used to this new work schedule is rewarding but also with it’s challenges. I feel like I’m playing a game of catch-up with my to do list and I’m not sure if I’ll finish it!
Remembering | That exploration energy I had when I first moved to California. I have definitely ALREADY gotten back into the “hometown slump”. I need to start challenging myself to seek out new things to try and actually do them. – ALSO – Remembering back to my May currently post from 2018 where I was wanting to take 9 OTF classes a month. Now that I’m working there I’m normally taking around 16-20 a month (WOAH!)
Finishing | My massive to-do list. I’ve been crossing off all the things using my Horacio Printing “A New Day” notepad. I seriously love that this thing has a top-3 section as well as a morning / afternoon / night list! (YES!)
Linking up todayβs post with Anne.
