It’s that time again friends!
Now that I’m back in Charleston I was able to go to my brother & sister in laws house to get my boxes of Halloween decorations back! They were a sad to part with all the fun but I couldn’t be happier to decorate our new house with all my old (and new) pieces! I’m not going to fib, I found myself stumped with where to put what and in which room. Y’all decorating new spaces can be so much fun but also so challenging with new layouts. #FirstWorldProblems 😉
I’ve learned over the years to stop buying quantity and start buying quality when it comes to Halloween decor. I’ve really grown into my vibe and it’s that gothic spooky feel with blacks, whites, with pops of orange and maroon. I love the timeless silhouettes that are bats, spiders, skeletons and crows and those will always be my go-to fillers for making spaces feel a little more Halloweeny.
My favorite things so far this year are the mouse silhouettes on the stairs (first time having stairs to decorate!), my new pillows, and my sweet vulture set! I’ll link some of my finds below and I plan on posting a quick easy DIY tutorial on how I made the hanging bats and some of the spiders!
/// Stay tuned for the outdoor decor post!
We’re finishing everything up within the next week or so and I can’t wait for y’all to see everything! My neighbors won’t know what hit them. 🙂
