January!!
You’re here and loud and creating a buzz like no other. There is a lot happening in the world right now and as a military spouse I can totally admit that my brain is on fire with anxiety. I’m also trying to be more aware of the choices I make with my time and I don’t want to waste my time.
I want to read more, move more and invest in more people.
What is January bringing you?
What are you hopeful for?
RECAP DECEMBER GOALS
Stretch more (more yoga!)
I definitely did this! With the Trochanteric Bursitis I have been doing PT about 2 times a week and stretching a lot at home! It’s been really beneficial for my recover and overall health!- Track my food and keep learning about Macros
NOPE. Didn’t do this. No real excuses other than I just didn’t. Complete 2 house projects (guest room & hang sconces in my room)
DONE! I need to share the guest room re-fresh (still more to do in there) but I got the walls painted, the furniture painted and everything moved in there! YAY!
JANUARY GOALS
- Continue stretching & get back into a fitness routine
- Cook more! (try at least 2 new recipes)
- Read 2 books
RESOLVING | To be more aware and kind. I want to let go of so much and just be happier and lighter! I know for me that starts with walking with Jesus more closely so I am working on that.
READING | So I just started Field Notes On Love and it’s pretty cute. My bookclub selected our January book so I’ve got to finish up the previous book and start Never Have I Ever (which looks so good!). Eddie & I have also started a reading plan where we are working through reading the whole Bible in a year.
CLEANING | ALL the things. I think everyone is though right? I’m trying to go through some closets and spaces I’ve been avoiding and purge things we aren’t using and really deep clean each room as I go.
CREATING | Trying to create new content for the blog. I am also in desperate need of some personal photography projects. Those need to happen to re-ignite that fire within!
PLANNING | Our cross-country road trip. Y’all we are going to SO MANY GOOD places! Yosemite, Grand Tetons, Jackson Hole, Yellowstone, Colorado to stay with Meg, Kansas, & Memphis! I’m hoping to get some road-trip posts up on how we are planning so if you want to know anything comment below!
