Alright friends, I always love when a house post starts with a “where we were” image. The first photo was from the MLS listing photo when we were looking at purchasing our home. The second photo was right after I finished the sunroom and posted about it back in April 2019.
Since then I’ve definitely gotten my hands on a few more plants, because let’s keep it real…plants are the best. I also hung up the faux garland around the door for my Christmas decor and haven’t taken it down yet. I am 90% sure I will take it down because I think it added to the “fun” of Christmas when it is up and as it stands right now yes it is pretty but it is also adding a lot more “business” to the eye for the day to day and I am not sure I want that.
All in all, this is truly my favorite room in our home. I put a lot of effort into this room and I spend many hours out there reading, talking on the phone, looking out at the pond, drinking coffee and soaking up the space. In fact Edie said this is hands down his favorite room in the house and while he loves what I do and my creativity this is where he can really vocalize how much he enjoys the space.
We’ve been spending our mornings waking up, grabbing a cup of coffee or tea and sitting out here chatting, listening to the birds, and just soaking up being around each other. It’s been glorious.
