Let’s get one thing clear really quick, I am no yogi. I definitely am not super flexible and I struggle with holding poses longer than 15 seconds. In spite of those truths I am doing what I can to implement more movement into my life and part of that is to do some yoga/stretching each and every day. While I am in no way old (31) but my body is definitely starting to need a little more love when waking up in the morning, before/after a workout, and before going to bed at night.
After my hip injury last fall I have been slowly (and struggling) to get back into a workout routine that won’t hurt my hip. After going to physical therapy for a few months one thing I learned I not only should be doing but needed to do is add stretching into my daily rhythm. Most days I make it happen and it’s been really rewarding.
Have you added anything to your routine recently that’s been bringing you joy? 🤩

So, I’ve been trying to do a 10 minute morning yoga flow every day and Kassandra has a whole 30 day program. This one was one of my favorites, it’s so so good and what I like about her morning videos is while they are slow they are purposeful and give me a good stretch.
Alright so this one is definitely geared more towards flexibility than towards a traditional yoga flow. It’s a really great video to throw into a weekly routine to bring a different perspective.
Ok, so this is a serious flow. Definitely one that will make you sweat and feel like you put in some work after completing it. If you’re looking for a good flow without many pauses then this is the video!
This is my sweet friend Ashley who teaches Holy Yoga and every single one of her classes is not only rewarding for health but completely healing for my soul. This is a longer slow flow and if you’ve got about an hour to carve out of your day then make 👏 this 👏 one 👏 happen.
This is another super short video but it is THE ONE where I learned some of my favorite yoga poses to help open my shoulders and hips and how to loosen up my muscles. It’s really one of my go-tos and I’ve done it so many times I can now do the flow all on my own!
