Happy Fall Y’all!!
It definitely felt like fall earlier this week here in Charleston. The temperatures were lower and the humidity had taken a little break. I was able to throw on a cardigan and sit on the back porch with a mug of coffee and not feel like I was drowning in my own sweat.
I’m not sure what it is but I know we can all agree that when this season comes into view we’re all thinking about warmer hearty foods that bring a sense of comfort. Soups, breads, pies, cookies…it’s all about the baking and the simmering and I am definitely hoping to make some of that magic happen this year!
I figured we could all benefit from a little pie round-up post to make it easy to find some delicious to-try recipes! Let’s keep it real, this will have pie, cobbler, and some tarts because they are all basically shipped the same and we all love them just as much! π
