To cutting off about 4-5 inches of dreaded hair and getting a splash of color and flat ironing it for the first time in about a year. No worries it is still curly, it’s just easier for me to flat iron now! 🙂

Saturday
I was able to go to one of my best friends mother-in-law’s birthday parties.
We hung out, ate way too much food, laughed, and just had a great time.
Saturday night was AWE-SOME.
It was my cousin’s final {he is a senior, EEK} Jump Jive & Wail.
AND he was first trumpet in the jazz band and had 12 SOLOS!
He’s talented i tell ya!
AND YES…he is in an Elvis jumpsuit with a red boa and a gold hat.
This is one of the many reasons why A. he is awesome and B. we’re related!

& then later on that night we got the party started!
I wanted everyone to wear a mask and MAN did they deliver!
These INCREDIBLE {i think she called them buttercream pumpkin cupcakes} delicious cupcakes were made by my friend Lauren {the one with the leopard print scarf}.
My mask {bought here} actually is part of my Halloween costume, so stay tuned over the month and i will share more! {below}

I’m so blessed to have the family & friends that i do, and i wouldn’t be the person i am without them!

Yay for your very awesome birthday weekend! You certainly went brave and bold with new colors in your hair. I am thinking abt chopping off my hair….As soon as I think I have the courage to do it, I see a pic or I see someone with great looking long hair and second guess my decision. Way to go for it!

Jealous that your hair can do either straight or curly and look good both ways. Mine is plain old boring straight and it won't curl unless I perm it and well… um… I'm not getting a perm!
