2014 was….rough.
it was beautiful, joyous, full of memories and laughter, and a catalyst for me.
it was also painful, heart breaking, physically exhausting, mentally challenging, and spiritually frustrating.
i want to be a light.
i want to be infectious to those i’m around.
i want to exude joy and love and compassion no matter the season i walk through.
and i have hope.
new years do that; they bring a moment of reflection to see where you’ve been, where you are, and where you’re going.
i know challenges are ahead this year.
i know i will be frustrated, let down, broken hearted.
i also know that joy comes from God, and will be tethered to me through every circumstance i will face.
i am simply in love with those words up there…i plan to print them out and recant them daily.
let Jesus shine through me day in and day out.
let me show love to others.
let healing begin.
