I am EXHAUSTED.
I would like to sleep for at least two days straight…thank you very much.
Needless to say i didn’t go to bed before 1am any night this weekend and some nights were closer to 3am before i finally fell asleep. It was a great weekend though, bachelorette party, painting, quality roomie time, and getting the house ready for some floor renovations this week.
I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking.
Side Note:
I won’t really be updating the blog this week, at least not like i normally do {one post every week day}.
I’ve got a completely jam-packed schedule that will be putting me in bed around midnight every night and up before 630am. I will be trying to keep up with y’alls blogs and should be back up and fully functioning next week. {did i mention that we might not have internet at the house for a few days during the renovations? yeah…but that’s ok i can read books! and watch movies!}
. . .
{^this is actually CLEAN compared to what it looks like this morning. + 2 rugs, another desk, more books, kitchen stuff, MORE books, boxes full of stuff, etc}
{The two pictures above (the panorama ones) ALL of the floor there has to be completely ripped up (sub-floor and all) to the ground, replace the subfloor, and then laying down tile.
M.E.S.S.Y!
Can i also just say i have never seen my kitchen or the back of the house that empty since i’ve lived there (we moved in when i was 5!)? It felt like we were moving; and that was weird!
Your painting came out beautifully! Sounds like a fun weekend 🙂
Sounds like so much fun! And I totally have the lamp that is in the fourth picture…haha. Ikea? 🙂
I love that painting!! So much fun! That looks like a lot of work… good luck with your busy week!
Woohoo! I can't wait to see it once it's all finished! 🙂
LOVE your paintings!! The important thing to remember in the midst of all the chaos is that you're gonna have a nice new home to live in daily! Be patient my friend and get some rest!!!
Awesome palm tree! I have those same ikea curtains in my room.
