i’ve always loved lacy; her heart and voice while she was the lead singer for flyleaf touched my spirit.
every new album, every new story…
…each word touched deeper and deeper into my soul.
countless flyleaf songs poured over me while i was in high school and college (and now).
they reminded me that no pain will last forever, that God loved me, that i was precious, and i was full of worth. their songs saved me.
when i first saw this video, i cried.
i’ve heard pieces of lacey’s story. i saw her in concert and she shared some of her life…but knowing this, the full extent of everything…blew me away.
God put purpose in her life, just as He has done with all of us…
