our family road trip was a blast.
there is just something about being stuck in a car together for hours, sharing rooms, and walking around new places that just bonds you together.
I have zero complaints (well, I didn’t like all the fast food, but what can you do ha!) and am so happy we were all able to do this together. I’ve found that as I get older coordinating schedules with other people can turn into a logistic nightmare. so taking time out of the “day to day” life for this trip was really needed and really appreciated! 🙂
prepare yourself for tons of pictures (and you can see the iphone pictures from the trip here)

I love all of these pictures.
1. sleeping in the car photos. classic.
2. your family is so precious.
3. hanging upside down from a tree. it made me nervous to look at! please don't fall!!
4. the poncho pictures get me every time. hahahahaha.
HP <3 the best road trip reading material! 🙂
also, i love Tim Hortons! I wish they had them down here!
So many great photos and they're all such great evidence of a fun family road trip.
I am loving all of the clouds, the water (the little rainbow in the falls!), the family photos, and the out-the-car-window photos, too. So many great moments caught on camera!
Also, the sleeping pic. I am terrified that someone will take a photo of me sleeping. Fortunately, I'M the one who carries the camera all the time, haha. 🙂
GORGEOUS pictures, Amy! I was keeping track of my favorites, but then, there were just so many…I love them ALL!
Did you guys play any car games or are you all more of the "this is my space, that is your space, entertain yourself" kind of travelers? We vary…I tend to put on headphones and look out the window if I'm a passenger and if I'm driving I pretty much talk non stop or sing to myself or listen to music if everyone else is sleeping.
Also…Do you put your feet up when you cross state lines? On our trip I learned that my brother and sister had forgotten all about that tradition which got us talking about where it came from. My Grandma taught my Mom and then she taught me…I always thought everyone did it, but apparently not.
Love love love these photos! I really want to visit niagra falls one day. It's beautiful! I love those waterfalls!
I completely and totally agree with you about road trips. They really are the best. Oh my gosh so many memories. Looks like fun! Love the b&w processing on these. My favorite.
Gorgeous photos Amy! What a fun trip 🙂 Gahh I just love your photos!
