Frankly…
+ This story…sickens me to my core. WHAT is happening to our world? I’ll tell you, satan is winning. How could two TEENAGERS beat an 88 year old man to death? It reminds me of the other story of the three teenagers KILLING another human being because they “were bored and wanted to kill someone” … this is absolutely disgusting. Also, not to go on a completely different rant – but i don’t want my children playing video games where they are constantly killing each other. My brother plays them and i just don’t understand them.
+ I read this book yesterday. I’ve been wanting to read it for a while; and i finally got around to it.
It was definitely an interesting read and kept me on the edge of my seat. If you read the little bio and it peeks your interest i say give it a go – it’s a quick read.
+ IT HAS ARRIVED!!
The level of my excitement was off the charts when i walked in yesterday evening.
Now to assemble it….
+ In case you missed it, i posted on sarah’s blog yesterday…woohoo blog swaps!
+ This is such a cute idea for a back patio…maybe i’ll do this one day?
+ When i saw this quote…it brought tears to my eyes; if only more people were like this.
+ I have had to talk myself out of going upstairs and dragging down halloween decorations at least 4 times in the last two weeks. Come mid-september you won’t be able to stop me!
+ We still have a spider issue at my house. We’ve named the regular Henry…he’s terrifying. We’re hoping he will die this weekend; his death requires a REALLY TALL latter and a person with a stomach of steel, so maybe my uncle? ha.
+ In case you missed it. We’re hosting an ETSY SWAP! Deadlines for sign-ups are soon…so spread the word and sign up for the fun – it’s going to be fabulous!
. . .
If you wrote a post this week that was frank, please feel free to link up! 🙂
Oh! Spiders…YUCK! I HATE…no LOATHE spiders! I'm terrified of them. Seriously.
I read your post on Sarah's blog yesterday. LOVED it! As always, such a good read 🙂
That news story makes me so sad. I can't believe how desensitized those teenagers are.
That book sounds intriguing, I'll have to add it to my read list.
That book sounds interesting!
What has arrived?? Is it something for your lovely office/library/hang out space?
Spiders are icky. But, I started liking him when you said his name was Henry. haha That is the name of my rambunctious puppy. 🙂
Happy Weekend!
That news story really is so sad. I just don't understand what makes people do things like that. By the by, hi! I am excited to catch up on what all you've been up to over the past couple of weeks!
that quote is so beautiful! pinned! 🙂
