y’all.
this will be my home for a small season…and i can’t believe it.
on saturday morning i asked eddie if we could walk to lil’s cafe for breakfast and to explore downtown kittery a little bit more. he complied and we started our stroll around 10am – it was maybe a 20 minute walk to downtown and the weather was beautiful and the conversation fun and the homes we passed were gorgeous. (i may or may not have seen a home that made me think the weasley’s lived there!) we entered into the cafe with quite a line inside (i was shocked!) and waited our turn to order. i got the veggie wrap and he got a steak and cheese wrap and we split the chocolate muffin (ok, i probably ate 2/3s of it).
talk about yum!
it was absolutely delicious – and i KNOW this (along with bagel caboose) will become one of our favorite breakfast stops; and probably lunch because their menu looks amazing!
i also can’t wait to go visit the library. (how pretty is that building?!)
the library is actually split into two different buildings and just has so much outside charm that i’m sure the inside will feel just
like a hug.
oh, and that beautiful landscape – probably 150 steps from eddie’s back door.
i see many nights out here just staring into the horizon watching the sun set. <3
