October has been a little weird this year.
It’s been a little softer, less crazy and full, and I’m coming to terms with that being ok!
I’m used to decorating every single room of my house with decor and going all out with a theme – the last two years we’ve been moving a lot or out of town for the month of October and it’s made getting motivated to decorate challenging – annnddddd 90% of my stuff is back in Charleston. So this year I’m going to share a few corners of my home that I’ve been intentional in getting my little spooky vibe on! We also hosted a small get-together this past weekend to dress up, play games, eat some good food, and enjoy the company!!!
The food was delicious!
I made a bacon ranch cheese ball (this recipe) and put it in a brain mold but you couldn’t really tell it was a brain (womp womp), chicken asian salad, a pumpkin throwing up pasta salad, pumpkin rice krispy treats, band-aid crackers, deviled egg eyes, mummy dogs, a cake, and burgers! SO MUCH YUM!
I made a Tooth Fairy costume & Eddie was my tooth. 🙂 We had Jim & Pam from the office, Bob Ross & a tree (painting), a little hershey kiss, a french kiss, a nerd, 80s couple, and a cat! The kids costumes were also super cute and full of creativity!
Honestly, I didn’t even pull out my professional camera, I just enjoyed the time spent with everyone!
I’m learning more and more to put the camera away and live in the present moment!
