Halloween Movie Night – Not So Scary Watchlist

Well, the people have spoken (on instagram that is!) and the post is going live today vs Friday. I think it’s because everyone is already starting their Halloween movie night watchlists and it’s always good to find more recommendations! We’ve definitely started with a few and we will be having weekly movie nights my brother & sister in law to go through some of the movies on this list! (I AM SO EXCITED!)

So without any further ado here is a list with a few ol’ good favorites that everyone watches as well as some that I LOVE and I feel don’t get the hype they deserve! While the title says movies I also threw in a few TV shows because I couldn’t help myself, Halloween is just too good.

4. Halloweentown (1-3 of course!)
5. Practical Magic
6. The Craft
7. Beetlejuice
8. The Little Shop of Horrors
9. Edward Scissorhands
10. Coraline
11. Hotel Transylvania
12. Fear (with Mark Wahlberg & Reese Witherspoon. Definitely suspenseful)
13. Beautiful Creatures
14. The Nightmare Before Christmas
15. The Covenant
16. The Addams Family (the new animated version)
17. Sleepy Hollow
18. The Witches of Eastwick
19. Death Becomes Her
20. Sweeney Todd
21. The Munsters (tv show)
22. Goosebumps
23. The Secret Circle (only one season but so good)
24. Hocus Pocus (duh!)
25. Young Frankenstein (the one with Gene Wilder)

Now for a few honorable mentions because a new release happened since I drafted this post and there are a few others that just needed to be on here:

• Hubie Halloween (Netflix just dropped this one!)
• The Addams Family, any of the originals! (this one is absolute MUST but it’s on everyone’s normal watch list so I didn’t originally include it)
• Twitches (tv show with the Mowry twins!)
• The Vampire Diaries (TV Show, gah…I just love it)
• The Magicians (TV Show, one of my favorites!)
• Underworld
• Interview With the Vampire
• Ghostbusters – any of them! <3
• …annnddd Twilight…because I can.
