Halloween Decorations | 2013

since Halloween is on thursday i figured i might as well share the halloween decorations i did this year.

let me preface this by saying that i love halloween, seriously love it, but this year i just wasn’t motivated to do a whole lot. my creativity was bleh and a lot of things were last minute and setting up for the party (which was so fun and i’ll talk about soon!). outside wasn’t nearly what i had hoped for – but that is what happens when you have a ton of bills due august-december. $$ gets tight so you have to improvise. so without further rambling, here are some of the main interior decorations:
. . .
i realized after uploading these pictures that i forgot to take pictures in the kitchen: it had more bats on twine and a frankenstein head as the table centerpiece. AS WELL AS…the windows had a “broken glass” look to them – similar to this. we had some faceless ghouls hanging outside and my skeleton flamingos.
you can check out last years decorations here.

OH MY GOSH — Seriously, you should consider doing a budget breakdown because I can't imagine how I could pull this off without spending tons of money!

Amy, you are so creative!! Also, I love your dining room! Will you be having a halloween dinner party in there?!

P.S. That clock is to die for.

The house looks totally fab – the bats on the wall and the owls are my fave although the last pic of the scary tree and village is also epic!
We don't do Halloween as much over here although we totally should!
