Happy Halloween | the tell tale heart…

{i was going to share halloween party pictures, but we’re still getting them all together (i didn’t take a ton, friends took a lot so i want all of them haha), so hopefully i’ll share the party in the next week.}

happy halloween!

few things scream halloween more than Edgar Allan Poe.
i remember when i was first introduced to his works – they freaked me out, but i was drawn in.
yeah – i’m weird.
i also understand that few people truly enjoy or appreciate his work.
i mean the guy was twisted (obvious from his work), experimented with opiates, and lived a rather secluded life.

also…did you know poe loved cats? win for you sir – win for you.

so to help celebrate halloween this year i found a really awesome animated video of his story, The Tell Tale Heart. It’s a little creepy, so if you’re not into that – or have never read the story then you might want to skip it (or read the story then watch it!).

enjoy.

    Awesome video! Poe certainly was creepy, but he is definitely perfect to read around this time. 🙂
