good luggage.
y’all, it is hard to find.
when we were getting ready for our sibling trip i knew i that we needed luggage that would be easily packed, sturdy, and able to pass the strict european carry-on luggage regulations (man it is ridiculous!).
i wanted to avoid the checked baggage fees that are notorious in europe (and the hassle of having to wait for our luggage at the carousels). i did a lot of hunting and found a lot of options that were nice, but i seemed to be sacrificing something; whether it was the look, the size, the material, etc.
then it was like the internet took me through 1,000 rabbit trails until i found exactly what i needed.
tom bihn.
this is THE BEST travel luggage i’ve ever had in my life.
to be perfectly honest, i’ll be using this luggage whenever i travel (anywhere, local or out of the country) because it is SO sturdy, beautiful, functional, and on point.

the fact that we were able to fit an entire 9 days of traveling to ireland & scotland in ONE bag each was something i never thought was possible. all of the compartments and the packing cubes we used to streamline our clothing – saved so much space (or i should say it gave me so much space to stuff it full).

the main piece of luggage we used….the. bomb. dot. com.
why yes, i definitely just said that, bring back the 90s lingo please!
we both got an aeronaut 45 . one of the things i loved about these bags (other than everything else i’m about to say) was the colors! they are customizable! my bag was aubergine on the outside and wasabi on the inside (gorgeous!) and lando’s was burnt orange on the outside with a steel interior.
you can see both of our bags on my instagram.
i think the best feature for this bag (other than the awesome material and STRONG zippers) is the THREE, yes i just said three, ways you can carry this bag. you can use the messenger strap, you can tuck the strap away or un-clip it and just carry it using the top handles (or the sides, i did that a few times), or unzip the back of the bag, pull out the straps, and clip them in and use it as a backpack.
YES A BACKPACK.
talk about that being awesome when you literally have 15 minutes to run all the way across the dublin airport to catch your flight.

we also used our packing cube backpacks every. single. day.
they were great for carrying around my camera, snacks, water bottles, wallet, and other goodies.
not to mention it was fantastic with keeping my stuff dry during our big hike.
the backpack was light, easy to roll up if needed, and HUGE – it fit sooo much stuff (at one point i think it had: my camera, wallet, 4 water bottles, a box of protein bars, two rain jackets, my phone, trail mix, a present, and a change of clothes.)

our luggage must haves:
bag – aeronaut 45
3-D clear organizing cube (these were PERFECT for security checkpoints)
packing cubes
packing cube backpack

all luggage was provided to me c/o tom bihn. all opinions, raves, and images are my own. i would highly recommend this company and product to anyone looking to better their traveling experience.
