y’all.
it. is. DONE.
hallelujahhhhhhhh.
seriously – this back hall way has been on my for years.
in case you need a refresher – you can see the before with it’s many paint colors, and scuffed dark trim.
eddie & i (ok, basically eddie) measured and cut the boards for the board + batten look and i painted my little heart out. seriously – i painted until my hands cramped and i felt like i was seeing everything in white; white trim, white walls, white board + batten, i mean, just paint it all white!
i saw this pin a while back and knew that i wanted to replicate the curtains in front of the washer and dryer to help hide them (and the sometimes TONS of laundry i have in baskets). he also built a little bench to go above tobi’s litter box; although, a person can’t really sit on it (not weight bearing) – it’s more for tobi to perch on and for me to put bags when i come home. we are planning on putting some cubbies up top as well (to store tobi’s food and treats) – but until then it’s all good!
i would like to replace the door besides the washer and dryer as well as add more art, spray paint the air vents, and maybe even replace the lights one day…but that is one day. i’ve been living with this for the last month or so and i am loving it! yay for not too-expensive projects to help completely transform a room!
